The Ministry of Helping Hands Healing Hearts is made up of many parts. Some are very practical in nature and some are purely evangelistic. Others are a mix of both. Either way, every one touches lives! We reach out to the poor and forsaken and we bring practical help and healing for their hurting hearts. Its easy to offer prayer for someone who asks for your help but it can be hard to reach into your pocket and give when you yourself don’t have enough. On the other hand, its useless to give money or things and not pray for the person. Only God can truly change their life and circumstances. That’s why we make sure we do both.
Everyday we minister in our two children’s recovery units and our hospital based ministry on the pedia, medicine and surgery wards. Then on a weekly basis we have children’s bible studies, parents bible studies and a hospital based bible study for staff and patients of the Hospital. Bi annually we hold crusades and medical missions. We do not believe that our good works will get us to heaven, that’s only by grace. But we want to make sure that we tell as many as possible that they can go too! Isn’t that the great commission?
